Miller County Fair 2016

It’s almost Fourth of July weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks, which means the Miller County Fair is right around the corner. At this annual family-fun event, you will find something for the whole family. Your local Eldon real estate agent has the schedule of events right here so you don’t miss your favorite attraction.

Parade

This year’s annual parade will be in conjunction with the City of Eldon’s 4th of July Parade. The parade will start at the Eldon Career Center and then it will continue downtown and finish back at the Eldon Career Center. It will feature local 4-H groups, community floats, vintage cars, horse-drawn wagons and much more! This year’s theme will be “Show us your Red, White and Blue… The Miller County Fair is for you!”

Carnival

This year’s carnival will be brought to you by Fun Time Shows. It will be open Tuesday through Saturday evenings. For $20, you can purchase a wristband for unlimited rides between 6:00 - 10:30 p.m. You may purchase these wristbands in advance for $15 each at various locations in Miller County.

Little Royalty Contest

Children from Miller and adjoining counties between the ages of four and seven will be competing for the titles of Little Mr. & Miss and Prince & Princess. Admission is $5.00 for adults 13 and over and $1.00 for 6 – 12-year-olds.

Pageant

Contestants for the Miss Miller County and Miss Miller County Teen Scholarships will compete in an interview, fitness wear and talent show. Admission is $5.00 for adults 13 and over and $1.00 for 6 – 12-year-olds.

Youth Livestock Shows

Youth from Miller county will compete in bottle calf, goat, sheep, beef, rabbit and poultry show throughout the week of the fair.

BI4-H/FFA Exhibits

4-H and FFA members will create items that will be on display at the fair throughout the week.

Glory Days Rodeo

This new addition to the fair will feature barrel racing, mutton bustin’, calf riding, buckin’ bulls, poles and barrels.

Lion’s Club & 4-H Concessions

This concession stand will include a delicious pork dinner, hamburgers, bratwursts, hot dogs, pizza, Frito Lay snacks, soft drinks, bottled water and more all great prices!

7:00 p.m. – Queen interview, fitness wear and talent – EHS Performing Arts Center
8:00 p.m. – Glory Days Rodeo

Wednesday, July 6

6:30 p.m. – Hog Show
7:00 p.m. – Live Entertainment TBD
7:00 p.m. – Little Mr. & Miss Contest – EHS Performing Arts Center

Thursday, July 7
10:00 a.m. – Youth Livestock Judging Contest
6:00 p.m. – Greased Pig Race

Friday, July 8

9:00 a.m. – Rabbit Show
11:00 a.m. – Poultry Show
5:00 p.m. – Livestock Auction Buyers Dinner
6:30 p.m. – Livestock Auction
7:00 p.m. – Exhibits Released
7:30 p.m. – Compact Figure 8 Race

Saturday, July 9
